Jeff founded Fire Door Solutions in early 2012 after using his significant sales and marketing tool set to help others sell into the healthcare industry. Jeff has a passion for service born out of 15-years in starting and managing multi-million-dollar resorts and conference centers. An entrepreneur at heart, he loves mining for unmet service needs and bringing a top-shelf service enterprise to fruition. He has done this with the high-end resorts, with Avascend Healthcare Hospitality, and now with Fire Door Solutions. Jeff holds a finance degree from George Mason University.
Dave brings an operational/finance focus as a complement to Jeff’s sales/marketing skill set. His service orientation evolved out of high-end, service-oriented manufacturing in the apparel industry where he served as VP of Operations and as CEO for a handful of companies. Dave rejoined forces with Jeff at Fire Door Solutions in early 2015 as the business began to grow quickly. Dave is an accomplished educator, having spent eight years as an Associate Professor at Benedictine College in Atchison, Kansas. He has written three books on the topic of integral business leadership. Dave holds an undergraduate degree in accounting and an MBA from Rockhurst University in Kansas City.
Debra joined Life Safety Compliance Solutions in 2018 as the Executive Vice President, and brings to us 30 years’ experience in Healthcare Facility Management. Her extensive background in Regulatory Compliance, as it relates to understanding and interpretation of the Joint Commission Standards, specifically the Environment of Care, Life Safety and Emergency Management Chapters.
Jimmy joined Life Safety Compliance Solutions in 2018 as the Executive Vice President and brings to us 20 years’ experience in Healthcare Barrier Management. He specializes in Firestopping, Damper Inspections, CMS and Joint Commission Surveys.
Tommie joined Life Safety Compliance Solutions in 2018 as the Vice President of Operations. He brings years of experience in Healthcare Facility Management. Always committed to cost-savings, he has a strong understanding of building teams around in-sourcing/out-sourcing models. He has a strong background in Fire Alarm and Fire Suppression and will be focusing his efforts in these areas.
Ray joined Fire Door Solutions in 2015 as the Executive Vice-President of Operations and Human Resources and has been instrumental in developing the processes and systems that allow employees at Fire Door Solutions to flourish. Ray is a Veteran with 12 years of active duty service in U.S. Army Police Corp working with and training patrol, narcotic detector, and explosive detector dogs. Ray is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and a Society for Human Resource Management Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP).
Miles joined Fire Door Solutions in late 2017 as the Executive Vice President of Sales. He brings more than 20 years of sales experience to Fire Door Solutions including market entry & development, complex solution sales, executive client engagement, sales team development, and sales methodology development & implementation. Miles is a graduate of the University of Kansas School of Business with an Information Technology Emphasis.
Josh is a Kansas City native and developed his operational and leadership style in the U.S. Army where he served for 12 years – specifically in Operation Iraqi Freedom 3. Most recently, Josh served Fire Door Solutions as Director of Inspections and Re-labeling. His leadership skills, customer focus, and logistical mind bring great organizing and process skill to Fire Door Solutions.
Jeff Crank began his career at Fire Door Solutions in 2012, having previously owned his own home inspection business in the Kansas City area. Jeff has held several significant roles at Fire Door Solutions and currently serves the company as Vice President of Sales and Marketing. He is a member of ASHE and Jeff is recognized nationally as he hosts fire door and NFPA 80 training sessions to numerous AHJ groups around the country.
C.J. Levy serves as Vice President of Technical Education and Industry Relations. He is an experienced and well credentialed fire door inspector; having earning his FDAI and Fire Door Assembly Inspector certification. C.J. has a passion for effective and efficiency work and has developed industry-serving tools to help others ensure compliance with NFPA 101, 80, and 105 codes. His expertise is leveraged at Fire Door Solutions to improve the competency of all FDS inspectors and technicians and to interface with DHI, DSSF, NASFM, NFPA committees and other industry associations.
As Fire Door Solutions’ Director of Purchasing & Logistics, Randy has been a pioneer in developing the compliance-focused fire door repair segment of the business and industry. He originally hails from Oregon, and now lives in the Kansas City area where he founded his own energy-saving, home remodeling business that gave rise to his expertise in compliance-related door repairs.
Tim began his career with Fire Door Solutions as a Life Safety Inspector. With 12 years of experience in and around healthcare facilities, he brings knowledge that helps to navigate our teams in the field. Taking on educational classes for facilities and relabeling he was able to strengthen the Inspections division. Tim holds a business degree from Kansas State University.
Therese serves Fire Door Solutions as the Director of Operations Support. Her team supports the field inspectors and compliance technicians through life safety plan review and labeling, project management, and client report generation at the end of jobs. The Operations Support team is also responsible for web site administration, graphic design, tablet software design and enhancements, and administration of Fire Door Solutions’ on-line learning platform. Therese holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications and Graphic Design.
